Customised Pink Vespa

This 1968 Vespa scooter 50R Giallo, customised by Jan Pulles®, is a unique project demonstrating unparalleled exclusivity and craftsmanship. With a completely hand-crafted original Crocodile leather saddle and a spare cover made of exquisite Cowhide leather, every detail was made with extreme care and meticulous precision. The Crocodile leather, sourced from the Cayman species and farmed and certified strictly in accordance with CITES guidelines, offers not only an exclusive luxurious texture but also a beautiful play of colours. Selected from the best hides, the saddle shows no natural imperfections whatsoever. The spare cover, made from high-quality Calf leather and subtly combined with a Crocodile accent and accessories in the form of a pair of pouches, complements the whole in a stunning colour palette that brings the vintage ‘Rosa shocking’ Vespa to life. Originally from the Piaggio factory, this unique Vespa was fully body-off restored around 2016 by an authorised restorer near Milan.
Introduced in 1966 as the Vespa 50L ‘Lusso’, this special model exudes luxury with additional details such as aluminium floor strips, luxury logo, VIN on the mudguard, aluminium leg shield frame and chrome headlight bezel. The 50L models distinguished themselves in colour, with luxurious metallic paint or trendy bright colours like the super rare colour ‘Rosa shocking’.
You didn’t see this kind of bright colour much on the streets at the time and it was bought by wealthy industrialists or citizens in combination with their Lamborghini Miura or Fiat 600 Jolly. Nothing better to show up at your favourite restaurant, marina, golf club etc. in summer.
This scooter, the only one in the world in this version, comes fully documented with a photo database of the leather restoration and a certificate of authenticity signed by Jan Pulles®.
