Private Collection – GB by Bisagni

The Italian brand ‘Golf Brothers’ was a world-renowned leather goods company, specialised in manufacture of highly exclusive handmade travel and golfbag sets. In a small workshop in Gallarate (IT), the most exclusive leather goods were handmade with necessary precision. Besides for world-renowned fashion houses and car brands, GB made custom-made products such as a case for a famous tenor, a guitar case for a Beatle, travel luggage for royals etc..
Here we show you a unique golf/tennis set called ‘GB by Bisagni ‘. This collection is of unprecedented quality and offers a beautiful interplay of fresh colours. The idea was born of the Gelato, the Italian ice-cream. Brightly coloured leather products inspired by this desert speciality for which Italy is famous all over the world.
The selected leather is of exceptional high quality and of Tuscan origin tanned by a tannery affiliated to the consortium ‘Vera Pelle Italiana Conciata’. This set is entirely handmade in the GB workshop by highly skilled craftsmen. Piece by piece, the leather is hand cut and assembled. For the golf bag 1 person worked on it for 12 weeks to achieve this result. We therefore truly speak of very exclusive masterpieces.
This set is Limited Edition No 31 produced in 1997 and came into the hands of Jan Pulles® that same year after a collaborative project between these two brands. The set comes with a certificate, original catalogue and photo material and accompanying files from that time. The set has been very carefully preserved and comes with custom-made cotton bags that were made separately for each item. Very unique is that this set is still complete and unused. The original labels are still attached to several items. All this makes this set extremely exclusive for enthusiasts and collectors.
We combined it with Jan Pulles® leather belts and accessories and Nebuloni handmade golf shoes made from the best Calf skins and luxury hides.

As far as we have been able to trace, about 75 sets of this collection were once made for the world’s most exclusive clientele including members of Royal families. Limited Edition nr 18 went to a Monargical Principality, nr 26 to an ex-wife of a President, nr 11 to a Prinses of a famous Asiatic Royal House.
