This bag is not just a fashion accessorie but a real work of art. Jan Pulles' artisans are true artists who tell a story with each brushstroke. Like a painter, the colourist plays with tints, employs essential oils, juggles pigments using a variety of tools.
First, the leather is cleaned and polish removed. Next, the leather is stripped, meaning lightened with transparant polish, then patiently massaged for an entire day using essential oils rich with naturel pigments and various kinds of waxes. Afterwards comes the length labour of colouring using pigments and nourishing cream. The final step is the glazing, bringing out the depth and lustre of the craftsperson’s patina artistry.
The result is a harmony of colours and textures that turn this bag into a unique and meaningful masterpiece.
